About Me
I'm Gabriel Passos, a cybersecurity student and aspiring SOC Analyst building my career in defensive security.
My journey started in IT support and infrastructure, managing Active Directory, Azure AD, and corporate networks. That hands-on experience taught me how real environments work, and how to protect them.
Today, I’m focused on Blue Team operations: SIEM monitoring, log analysis, threat detection, and incident response. I hold the CompTIA Security+ certification and I’m currently pursuing my degree in Cybersecurity at Universidade Vila Velha (UVV).
What Drives Me
My most used programming languages are Python, C++ and Shell Script. Currently working on an automated security assessment reporting solution using Python and sh as a personal project.I believe security isn't just about tools, it's about understanding what you're defending. My background in infrastructure gives me that perspective. Every firewall rule, every access policy, every log entry tells part of a story. My job is to read it before an attacker does.
